Who is responsible for your data

You visit ruevive.fr

No audience measurement cookie without your consent. Page views, clicks through to the demo and the steps of our requests and orders are counted by our server, with no third-party tool in your browser and no data that identifies you (no name, no email address, no IP address passed on); without consent, nothing links two of your visits. A measurement or advertising cookie is only set with your consent (see “Cookies and ads”). Our hosting provider keeps technical logs (IP address, page requested, date) for as long as needed for the security and proper operation of the website.

Only the administrator, customers signed in to their customer area and people signed in to their account use a cookie, which is strictly necessary for signing in; the customer area and the account are opened via a link sent by email, with no password.

Cookies and ads

When we run Google ads, a banner asks for your consent before any advertising cookie is set; refusing is as easy as accepting, and changes nothing about what you can do on the website.

Only with your consent (legal basis: your consent): a measurement identifier specific to your device (cookie “rv_id”, 13 months) links your visits and, if you request a demo, your request, so that we know which pages and which ads lead to requests; the Google Ads tag measures whether an ad led to a demo request (Google cookies); with your request, we keep the ad click identifier and the campaign you came from (cookie “rv_source”, 90 days), so that we can later report to Google that an order came from that click, without your name or your address. Without consent: none of this.

Your choice is kept for six months (cookie “rv_consentement”); you can change it at any time via “Manage cookies”, at the bottom of every page.

You talk to Vivi, our assistant

On ruevive.fr, your questions are sent, together with the conversation thread, to our AI provider to write the answer (legal basis: your request). We do not keep this conversation: it stays in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. To limit usage, we only keep the number of questions asked that day (linked to a fingerprint of your IP address, or to your account) and a technical log without the text (duration, volume, cost).

In a demo, or in your customer area once you are a customer, Vivi changes your website: your messages, its replies and the photos you send it are kept with the website (legal basis: your request, then the contract), so that you can go back and our team can see what was requested. They are deleted with the website: a demo without an order no later than 30 days after it was created, a customer's website 30 days after the subscription ends. Each change creates a version of the website, which can be undone.

Your account (without an order) contains only your email address and the dates it was created and last signed in to; it is deleted on simple request to contact@ruevive.fr.

You write to us

Through the “write to our team” form (https://ruevive.fr/en/contact) or by email: your address, your name if you give it and your message, so that we can reply (legal basis: your request). Messages sent through the form are deleted one year after they arrive; those from a customer are kept for the duration of the relationship (“You are a customer”).

We prepare a demo for your business

To show you the website we could build for you, we use public information about your business (name, address, phone number, opening hours, services, photos and links you have published), and sometimes the manager's name when it is public. Our writing AI reads this information to write the demo.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in presenting our service to professionals. The demo and this information are deleted no later than 30 days after it was created if no order is placed, and without delay on simple request to contact@ruevive.fr. The demo is not indexed by search engines and collects no data from its visitors. When we send you the link, we know whether it has been opened (a discreet signal, with no cookie).

If you request your demo on https://ruevive.fr/en/demo: your email address, what you write and the photos you attach, to prepare the demo and send it to you, with no more than three reminders (legal basis: your request). Nothing is prepared until you have confirmed your address; a request that is never confirmed is deleted after two days, the others along with their demo.

You are a customer

We process your contact details, the information and content of your website, your domain name, the history of your requests and your invoices, to perform the contract (legal basis) and keep our accounts (legal obligation). Payment is processed by Stripe: we never see your card number.

If we register your domain name for you, your holder details (name or company name, address, email, phone number) are passed on to the registrar and to the registry of the extension (AFNIC for a .fr), as for any domain name.

Retention periods: your website content, for the duration of the subscription and then 30 days (return or resumption); your exchanges with us, three years after the end of the relationship; invoices and accounting records, ten years (article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code).

You visit one of our customers' websites

The websites we host set no tracking cookie. Visits and actions (calling, booking, asking for directions) are counted there with no cookie and no data about you, so that the business knows what its website brings in. If you write to the business through its website, your message is sent to it by email and kept for one year in its customer area: the business is the data controller and we act on its behalf (processor). Its legal notice tells you how to contact it.
